Raising Venture Capital is a process for entrepreneurs. It is the startup CEO’s job to capital plan & raise. A part of that job is to understand how long it will take to close a round so you don’t run out of money and have to close. Despite what you may see in movies or tv shows it usually doesn’t happen by accident. The best founders in the world build a process around their fundraising plan and plan for a long grind.
